Volunteering for Citizens Advice
People volunteer for Citizens Advice for a number of reasons. Sometimes it’s people who are retired and want to keep or develop new skills in retirement, some people simply wish to give something back to the community and others see volunteering as a way of increasing their employability.
Full training is provided for all our volunteer roles that range from advice work, reception and administration and trustees who help us run the service and provide good governance.
The experience and training we provide means that many of our volunteers move into paid employment in the service or with other employers as the skills are transferable.
